Rover MC foundry - silent movie

The ford at the end (water not motorcar!) is in Kenilworth - about 5 miles from Coventry so geography is about right

And having had a chance to look at the enjoyable video it looks like the crankcase is cast with the words 'Rover Coventry'. Doh!

It would seem that gaskets had yet to be invented when the engine assembley was filmed:). The test rider who fell off going through the ford reminds me of an off road ride recently. Thankfully it was my mate Steve who fell off & not me!

Only just watched it, fantastic ! Definitely south of Coventry, looks like Stoneleigh bridge where they are setting out. Still there and the buildings, could well be the ford in Kenilworth. Dry at the moment as went through last week and didn't get my feet wet.
