The rocker feed banjo on the timing cover below the oil pressure valve has a drip. If I take that banjo off, am I going to have oil leaking all over until I get it back on or can I stop it somehow until I get new copper gaskets back on? I'm assuming it's the banjo and not the plastic to fitting, but I may be wrong.

It'll drip, but it won't gush. Oil has to get past the pump to leak out. I doubt more than a thimbleful will leak out.

I had a faulty line on my rocker feed - found the same plastic stuff down at the auto parts store, easy fix.

Also check to make sure there are no scratches across the flange of the banjo - I had that issue, too.

Although getting the torque wrench is tricky in that spot, I found the proper torque would seal it up.

Thanks, I have plenty of that Nylon 11 line, so if that is the problem, I can fix that. I'll have to inspect the banjo for scratches and maybe put the torch to the copper gaskets to loosen them up a bit. I'll just put a pan under it until I get things sorted. I've got plenty of torque on it at this point, after the 3rd try.

Thanks again,
Dave
