Such a great character. Often controversial, but a true personality that was good for the sport.

He will certainly be missed.

Crap we all face that anytime we get in the saddle but for sure yoose racers are at extreme risk to be gone in a flash or worse left as a vegetable to garden by family or staff. You see how focused I'm on the rump rod+ helpers benefits, a big part of that are these race deaths, did the pilot make an error or did the random splashing of back ass wards modern take em out no fault of their own. These moderns and the vintage kind too run out of handling reserves with no more load handling options left to them. Glad he didn't take others out with him but know no one ever really gets over losing family or close friends. Dead riders whisper in my ear till i join them too.

Yes he will certainly be missed.
After seeing them at Phillip Island, and thinking how easy they make it look, this brings things back into line very quickly.
He was becoming very popular in Oz and yes was good for the sport, a real character.
R.I.P. Young man.
Spare a thought for family and friends, we don't often see our loved ones die on television.
And a thought for Colin Edwards and Valentino, they will see a bad image for the rest of their lives.
Could this be Valentinos' last year, I doubt that he needs the money.
Be carefull out there.
AC.

Some of my whispers were behaving fine when tee boned to death by traffic or animals. If you get in a saddle there is no logical defense for a life risking activity. Achilles' dilemma/choice comes to mind on racers lives. I hope it was fast over with. I've have lost any faith in an after life so get it on while ya can.

Saw the crash on youtube and the news today and it is horrific,,then camera shots of who i think must be his girlfriend trackside ,, it is a tragedy for a young mans life to end this way in such a public and graphic way. It just goes to show that those guys go out there risking life and limb(danny pedroza??finger severed last week at phillip island). A local guy,,ex world champ speedway rider Leigh Adams fell off his dirtbike practicing for a race a few months back and now is confined to a wheelchair and this accident rocked our local community,so i suppose just take it easy everybody.

We don't need to see the video again.

I think it would be the decent thing to delete it from your post Hobot.

I must agree with you John. It was a terribly sad thing. My wife (a huge Rossi fan) hasn't stopped crying since we witnessed the race on Sunday. A young man lost his life doing what he loved. RIP Marco, you are sadly missed.

One wonders if the videos ' change ' . seems to . . . . , Sad & Tragic, at least he's relieved of suffering more B/S on this
planet .The Media & decency dont go hand in hand .

Decent thing huh, put out of mind and out of heart eh as can't face facts of real death? I did not hunt this up to hurt anyone, only saw it on mc-engine list not here, so posted it. I can remove it online but not where it matters most. What I saw says the bike was at fault not the pilot, even if he touched the paint so what, should of re-gripped soon after and not just fly out from under then shoot him into traffic collision. I know what its like to about die crashing and risks to get in saddle.
Btw don't capitalize hobot, unless upset with me.

Thanks for taking it down hobot.
I just hate the way it's turned into a media circus and a great man's death is used as entertainment.

Hello hobot, I wouldn't put Marco "out of mind and heart" or think anyone would or could that ever saw him race or watched an interview with him.
Here is a video tribute to number 58 to remember him.
If anyone finds it offensive say and I will remove it.

God that was intense to watch and see who was doing it so aggressively. In water and snow sports we say if you ain't falling you ain't really trying. Another hot head will whisper in my ear before I nail it faster than fear.

An admirable perspective. Well done.
Thank you, Hobot.
