It is a concideration. I do 70mph at 3750rpm. Third gear 55 is very good. I am running a 21t sprocket. I may go to 19 to help unload the gearbox and clutch.Vulin said:Just a question, are you guys switching out your sprockets for something with less teeth? CR says it raises the gearbox by 2 teeth. Im only asking this because I picked up a xring chain and sprocket.

When my belt was fitted the gearbox sprocket was changed to keep the final drive ratio (very near to) unchanged.
No pics. It wasn't enough to remove the allen socket hole. RGM says to shim it out at the clutch locating washer. My findings were that it seemed that the belt rode a little to the inside, running true and not walking in that direction. I felt I needed to capture it fully. That's not to say that shimming isn't the answer, it is just what I happened to do. I prefer having that spinning mass in tight, It may not make any differance though.swooshdave said:Do you have pics of how much you had to grind away on the buttonheads/ and or chaincase to make it fit?
I have a 19T so I'll try that.

Just my preferance.
