Good Morning: This morning on the INOAlist a request from Jim Evans was posted.
To: INOALIST
Subject: [INOALIST] Club meeting program suggestions wanted
The Chicago Chapter is looking for programs to present at our monthly
meetings. Years ago, most vendors to the hobby (Castrol, Champion,
Shell, etc) maintained libraries of 16mm films regarding their products
or sponsored races/events; these were also available through public
relations agencies and were available free. These technologies and
sources all seem to be long gone, and I'm wondering what has replaced
them? We would welcome any suggestions or referrals to sources similar
to those mentioned. YouTube has plenty of interesting clips but group
viewing on a laptop is un-cool and not what we want. Feature films such
as "On Any Sunday" are too long for a club meeting. Need things in the
under 30 min category, streaming is OK,don't mind paying a fee to view.
Any suggestions for sources of Norton/riding/racing/old bikes media
would be welcomed. Have access to laptop, digital projector, and big
screen TV. Reply off list, if you wish. Jim Evans, Chicago Norton
Owners Club
I asked Jim if I could post his request here and he agreed it would be a good idea. Their chapter of the INOA can be found at http://www.cnoc.org
Maybe some videos showing updates to the bikes, such as starters, valve springs and the spintron.
Suggestions posted here, would be good information for others in the future.
Thank You for your help in this. Frank Coleman
