Let me deliver more skepticism. Vacuum on the outlet side is not a real world test. You want pressure on on the inlet side.

As far as I'm concerned the only real test is to install them on the tank you're going to use and see how much if anything drips out. All you need is a piece of paper under the taps, especially with avgas, the blue dye will show up.

BTW I ordered a set of Taiwanese repos, about $14 ea from Clubman today, he's got the British made for about $30 ea. We'll see what the cheap ones are like.

Brilliant piece of work. I am curious how you turned the cone. I know teflon is tricky to machine. It does not want to be cut. The one thing I love about old Brit Iron, both car and cycle, is that most of the components can be gotten apart and cleaned up and repaired. I am now glad I kept all my used petcocks as you are going to be manufacturing these gems for all our use. LOL Well Done!
