Removing engine from frame

Hi,

Is it possible to remove a Commando engine from the frame without disturbing the cylinder head?

The engine was rebuilt 4 years ago and is running well, but I'm contemplating removing it to address the frame which wasn't done to a very high standard.

Yes.

You have to remove the entire primary (clutch) system, then remove the tranny cradle rear isolastic mount through-bolt, then remove the bolts holding the power unit to the tranny mount and swing the rear end back to allow clearance to pull out the power unit.
