Is it safe to remove the contact breaker cam with the slide hammer tool if engine is frozen?
Thanks

I can't think of any reason why it would not be safe to do so.

You mean seized?

Have patients!!! I have had considerable luck with rusty seized engines. I soak the complete engine in kerosene. Buy a large Tupperware tub submerge
engine and wait. Broken studs are expensive to have removed.

Pull the spark plugs and pour in ATF for a day or 2 then get it in 4 th gear and rock the bike back and forth.
Soak the ign. points / cam plate in wd 40 and pull it with tool.
If you decide to re-use it instead of E.I. every moving bit will need cleaning and fresh grease anyways.

Not wd40, but penetrating fluid left over night at least, it might require a little heat to help it on it's way.
