Japanese calligraphy and sword-play being two examples, when you think you produce crap or perhaps get killed. The same may be said for the art of riding a motorcycle on the edge. Describing the behavior of a particular phenomena or the universe using mathematics can be a useful tool, but that equation or model, although perhaps being part of the universe itself, is never what is being looked at.
