Recommendations for a small bag?

I hope you enjoy that option.
I'm a bit surprised as that bag doesn't fit my concept of "small" but appears to be well thought out.
Let us know of your post-trip review.
Cheers
Agreed; it is a bit larger bag than what I was initially looking for. The standard clips and such on the bag were not used for this trip since there are no frame rails to connect the straps to; a long strap was simply run over the bag and under the seat! I have a plan for more secure attachment to the Vin.

The ride went well, especially since there was no need to access tools! 143 Miles round trip through some winding mountain roads and secondary highways in the California Gold Country. No four-laners.

The Commando tank and side covers are coming back from the painter this weekend. :)

I've used a Cortech tail bag for years. Fast to hook on and expandable like flight suitcases

I am now using hard case Tail bags by Givi when I load up and travel.
Cheers, Tom

For a tool roll, overtrousers and a few spare plugs and cables I've got this Autokicker bag strapped to the seat, the straps wrap under ok and there's a velcro strap for the grab rail but it's firm enough without it.

I thought that looked neat, so I bought one.

It needs longer straps (23" as supplied).

The straps will wrap around a Commando seat OK, and reach the other side of the bag, but the straps arent long enough to wrap around a T140 seat, or a (Hinckley) Scrambler seat.

I should have mentioned, as it's not obvious in the picture, that my seat isn't' standard Commando but a small hump cafe racer one.
