Having just about given up finding a rearset shift linkage (part only), I'm resolved to having one fabbed up myself. I would like stainless, but would settle for chrome-plated steel. I have most of the setup dimensions I will need except a couple of things: Pivot-to-pivot heights of the vertical arm and shift shaft arm and the center-to-center length of the adjuster rod clevises. Also, would the rod be better with straight clevises or would heim joints be better? Does the rod run parallel or is there a slight angle. Hard to tell from photos, so I'd appreciate any current owners' advice. The stock shifter turned backwards and angled downwards to avoid the kickstart lever is a pain.
