Having just about given up finding a rearset shift linkage (part only), I'm resolved to having one fabbed up myself. I would like stainless, but would settle for chrome-plated steel. I have most of the setup dimensions I will need except a couple of things: Pivot-to-pivot heights of the vertical arm and shift shaft arm and the center-to-center length of the adjuster rod clevises. Also, would the rod be better with straight clevises or would heim joints be better? Does the rod run parallel or is there a slight angle. Hard to tell from photos, so I'd appreciate any current owners' advice. The stock shifter turned backwards and angled downwards to avoid the kickstart lever is a pain.

I hope this helps.
Original Dunstall shifter parts, never used.
I tried years ago to use the reversed and bent outward original lever. Not a good shift feel.
Let me know if you need any other dimensions.

Is this what you're after?

I don't need it.

Let me know if you need measurements etc.

I've used a reversed lever in the past. However it seems that part of the effort used to change gears is directed up the lever, so the change is never as good as using the linkage where the lever rotates about the footrest My linkage is by 6mm rod between two rose-joints. That way if the lever on the gearbox is out of alignment with the lever at the foot rest, you can bolt the rose-joint to the opposite sides of the two levers to get the rod to run true without side-thrust. This happened with the TTI gearbox which is about an inch longer than the Norton box. One thing which is not possible with the TTI box, is to change the shift direction by inverting the lever on the gearbox and making the rod cross over. I had to order the reverse pattern shift drum and send the old one back to Bruce Verdon in New Zealand..

That's exactly what I need. Name your price + shipping to zip 62298 USA if you's care to sell.

Thanks. That will be all I need to fab one up if freefly doesn't want to part with his.

That's the issue I'm having, not only lost the 1 up, 3 down pattern, but now upshifts involve rowing the lever rearward slightly as well as up.
