That hub looks reclaimable, it's really a question of how expensive and available good second-hand hubs are in your part of the world compared with how many crates of beer you have to bung someone at a local engineering firm to either weld and re-machine or perhaps bore and fit inserts.
It would be easier to find an old one in good condition, cheaper to find one in Australia too. If you have friends with a lathe and a welder, it could be fixed really cheaply.
