The rear brake shaft on the footrest assembly on my Commando has become worn as well the hole on the brake pedal being out of round, creating a sloppy fit.
I don't really want to buy a new footrest assembly and brake pedal. Am wondering if I could drill out the hole on the brake pedal and make up a bush to fit it and knock the shaft out of the footrest assembly and repair the wear or make up a new shaft.
Has any one attempted this or got a better fix?
Cheers
