Question about "S" High Pipes

Yes, as mentioned if you have a 71 or newer front mudguard, it will foul in the S exhaust pipes under hard braking. That could mean some exciting times if you can't steer.

Previous response was will foul 850 (stainless) front fender. The'71-'72 fender for the 750 (chrome) is a bit different than pre '71. So you say these also will foul the right header? The reason I ask is I have a set of original "S" pipes and considered trying them on my '72 750. Maybe not.

Thx

I could see how that could happen - something few riders consider during set-up is suspension during full compression/rebound.
Question about "S" High Pipes

Nelson can tell you about his experience with the front mudguard, a newer than 70 bike and the S type exhaust. He was the first to tell me about it.
