My ignition switch is acting up and would like to jumpre around it to get bike started. What wires do I need to jumper together to kick start the bike?

1971-on model?

Brown/blue - white.

The four-way switch is a little bit of overkill. Replace it with a 3-way off-on-lights switch. BTW the lock won't stop a thief, since it is so easy to "hot wire" these bikes. It may confuse most thieves, since he may fiddle with parking lights going on, not starting, starting but no lights, staring plus lights. If he knows how to start and shift a Norton, this probably won't confuse him. One of my bikes has a toggle on-off switch somewhere else out of sight.

I was able to clean/lube recomission my OEM Lucas switch, NP. Chose NOT to perform the epoxy fill procedure some others have done.

Don't I need a 4 position switch for a 75 Electric Start?

So how can I bypass the switch to get the bike started?
