Oh come on Ken, It does exactly what it is supposed to do- get money from slow learners. :D Jim

Looks more like an ad for penis enlargement. Just substitute hot for cool.

I don't think I would want my oil temp to be lowered 50 degrees, I rarely go one way over 30 miles anyway

Just began hunting about for a hint of what they are really selling & stumbled on this tempting treat they pander to ponder. Peel could use some flame thrower coloring fuel instead of the propane system so hmm.

Now thats Tec,
So what they claim is refill with this new oil and suddenly the engine temp drops, well ,as Most heat in your commando is from exhaust gas [plus a little from friction] i carnt see this working...unless you get an oil cooler and bigger oil tank with it

I only know about nothing but interest is piqued so will call em to see how they say it works. Its just an additive to oil not replacing all of it, or it might refrigerate too much and freeze up. I could fine nothing online except the company site so that's a strike against faith at this point. But heck what do ya buy for a Commando that's got everything?

I think the secret to the PE companies is that you are embarassed to buy it, and more embarassed to ask for your money back. I listen to a lot of XM radio, and just get bombarded by those ads.

Workshop manual?

Oh man that's not even funny as its sadly too short a list of vital references and scope, to learn which errors in manual and design to work around.

Since we don't TV so far out in the woods I've got to read stuff and holding breath for what's already been done to greatly improve lubricants - so somewhere these have to be trickling out, just don't know yet but think I will and then decide. Peel will have data logging inside and out so should be able to detect effect even if I can't feel it directly.

On tire softening solvents I'm a believer now but it don't soak in far so rubs back to plain new rubber on one outing. A bit confusing to me to start out on better traction then later with heated tires. By the time I get to pavement I have essentially furry sand blast pitted tires warm to touch just trying to stay upright and not put much load on them sideways or need brakes or much power to avoid the begining of tire slipage. There is no difference between THE Gravel and Tarmac behavior once Tarmac attacked harsh enough it becomes almost as loose as THE Marbles/Arrowheads. Grooves have nil effect just like dry pavement, only soft compliance matters, just like dry pavement, tires can not dig in, same as pavement. So if it works on race tracks it works on THE Stone Snot. They do list dirt improvement but that is so silly a concept to me I wonder if the rest is too. One need cleats and low PSI for dirt or sand or grass or mud or snow not compound softeness to matter.

On the oil side if Peel can't her oil temps over 200' F then don't need no oil cooling help just piston and head spraying. I've got oil insulation on hand just in case, am I really that mis guided? Really got to find out for real.
