Yes but a bit tricky in that some options are to the right of the camera icon, shown by 3 vertical dots that u can barely make out, on my black screen theme at least. Can a member of any flavor insert media from their own site, or does it have to be one of the approved sites? My guess is that is a really dumb question.
I post links here to images stored on my website, but I'm not sure video would run from my site. It could be blocked here or at the other end. I guess I'll have to try it someday to find out.Yes but a bit tricky in that some options are to the right of the camera icon, shown by 3 vertical dots that u can barely make out, on my black screen theme at least.
You also have to click on reply (or edit) 1st, before any options to add pix comes up.
It is certainly not intuitive or easy for beginners or tech challenged.

My website is just a storage space for images. I don't have a home page or any BS about my life, how fast I think I use to be on specific turns, or what I had for lunch yesterday on it.
Are you implying I would need to code something in html to get the video to run here? Only thing that challenges me is being humble and kind. Way harder than I ever thought it would be.
Thanks GregYou simply post the file on you server and link it here. For instance: https://www.gregmarsh.com/MC/Norton/images/1974 Norton/5 - E-Start 10.mp4
Thank you! I get about 100 human visitors a day, but generally never hear what people think - I appreciate the feedback.Your whole site is fabulous, i've enjoyed many hrs there.
I just right click in the reply area, a box shows up then left click paste. The forum software automatically embeds it when selecting above (like utube) sources.Cant upload videos to the forum.like pics.

The file type when linked makes no difference to the server in most cases - it only matters that the user's browser can display it. Older computers/browsers might be able to do .mp3 but not .mp4.
No, that was a$12,500 bike but the buyer wanted a bunch of extras like cNw e-start, 520 chain, different master cylinder, a set of new tank and side covers in red so he could switch back and forth, etc. Ended up being a little over $18k. That one has an interesting story documented here: https://www.gregmarsh.com/MC/Norton/Norton_1974.aspx
Ya, in the USA, matching number candidates for rebuilding, IMO, are $3000-$5000; and, matching numbers, everything works right, riders are $5000-$7000.True about media playback. MP4 will work for my use. Well, if I ever get around to doing any video. The fact that it works like I hoped it would is what I wanted to know. I appreciate you taking the time to answer. (Turns out I can't do it via my site host. They won't let me upload video files on my cheap guy plan.)
Yeah, I knew that was not a $6K bike. Nortons are only worth $6K when you are buying one, right?
