At the National Art Gallery in Dublin, a husband and wife were staring at a portrait that had them completely confused.

The painting depicted 3 black men, totally naked, sitting on a bench.

Two of the figures had black penises, but the one in the middle had a pink penis.

The curator of the gallery, realizing that they were having trouble interpreting the painting, introduced himself and offered his personal assessment of it.

He went on for over half an hour explaining how it depicted the sexual emasculation of African Americans in a predominately white, patriarchal society.

“In fact”, he pointed out, “some serious critics believe that the pink penis also reflects the cultural and sociological oppression experienced by gay men in contemporary society”.

After the curator left, an Irishman, who had been standing nearby, approached the couple and said, “Now would you like to know what da painting is really aboot?”

“How can you claim to be more of an expert on this painting than the curator of the gallery?” asked the wife.

“’Cause I’m da guy dat painted it,” he replied. “You know, dere are no African Americans in de painting at all. Dere aren’t even any poofs. Dey're just tree Irish coal miners. Da guy in de middle had been home for lunch!”

I remember when that interview first got out. It was instantly politicized.
Certain political and media factions did their best to bury it, to no avail.
Many claimed it was some kind of racist computer generated falsehood...it is not.
The view numbers YouTube offers are skewed for obvious PC reasons.
Johnson now claims he was kidding.

The Admiral responding to the asinine question shows a ton of class by not roundly embarrassing the idiot.

There are a whole lot more of those mental giants in American politics.

He is still in office and still stupid.
His ability to hold office is based solely on the color of his skin.
