The P11a ranger painted white, and posted by P400 has just turned up close to me, (in England near Portsmouth) and I have been asked a few questions about them. I am going over with my p11 to meet up and have a look at it, is there any info or history available about this bike. cheers for now Neil

not that I know of, I will be visiting him in a few weeks time and will pass on any info and give him forum details. would be nice to find out some of its history.

spotted this weekend , May 30th, at the 2015 KickStart Classic, Dale Walkslers Wheels Thru Time museum.

Went for a 80 mile test ride today to check out electricals on P11 with new Podtronics regulator.
Carried rain gear but no rain.
all worked well, did 10 miles on dirt roads.
New Husqvarna handle bars worked very well, allowing me to stand up when needed.

Daily lunch run found the old home place needed fixin' up.
Only reoccurring problem is my side cover, the battery cover, keeps coming off at the forward mount.
I need a better "tool free" method of fastening on this battery cover.
It is simply stock two nut method at this time.

Daily Run to lunch - 80 miles on a P11. Great weather, good roads, beautiful country side.
Interesting gate post adornments - this is a pair of bears.
Bear on right looks like he has an errection, but I think there are flag holders on both bears.

Daily run - stopped at an interesting weathered building to take P11 photo, owner motored down on a lawn tractor , we met and exchanged names and Dale asked if I would like to look inside. Of course I said yes, and he showed me an unrestored 1926 Model T Ford Coupe.
1933 inspection sticker on the windshield.

Fresh mowed field was being mowed on the way to lunch, finished mowing on the way back.

Running great. Keeps a perfect, slow idle. No kickback on start. Bolt-on sidestand is too short, will change it for something else. Would also like to change the K&N for a stock aluminum canister air filter but not sure if I have the space for it with the tall carb spacers.

Hi Ele, Thanks for photos. Your P11 looks great. I would only install mufflers, install a magnetic tank bag to carry a kick stand prop and get this P11 into a daily rider priority.
New battery, chains, plugs, oil................
I would not fix, upgrade, repaint, polish, etc, anything on this Norton. Shiny bikes are boring, this is a show stopper as it is!

Thanks P400. Bike only has 5500 miles but not "easy" miles. Prior to my ownership, bike looks to have taken a few spills on both sides and busted parts, primary cover, tach. Steering turn-in is surprisingly not bad despite the huge Metzeler tires. New chrome mufflers would be too shiny for the rest of the bike, maybe need to find some in black or unchromed. Even without mufflers, bike is not too loud and the sound dissipates very fast. Definately need to do something about the sidestand..........leaning like a Harley here.

Hi p400.

Don't know a thing about these machines but your looks very fine.

and very beautiful countryside. (East Coast ? of USA ? New England ?? )

On road, rev counter died, but weather great, P11 running well.
Handle bars better, but still too low for me.
New, tall seat is fantastic!
Quieter mufflers would be a plus a well.
