Possibly selling a 1967 N15cs

Hmm, I'll give a shot, trying to help. I think a picture would be a big help and also the location - plus how you plan to sell it. I have a '66 and wonder the same as I pour $ into it. My wild guess is somewhere around $6K to $9K. Seems to me that there's going to be a smaller market than a Commando or even P11, and finding a buyer will take longer.

There was a customized or 'resto mod' on Bringatrailer that went for over $13K, it was nicely done but not to everyone's taste. Another nice one was bid up to only 3900 but not sold, that was in 2019 though. The 13,250 price seemed an anomaly though. Bringatrailer gets a lot of eyes and the selling prices are sometimes astonishingly high. I plan to sell one or more of my bikes on it.

Another point of reference - I was at the BSA Swap Meet here in Southern California on Sunday and a gentleman had an decent N15 that needed a service but not much else. He was asking $4500. I thought it was a little low as I have a restoration project I'd like to move on and was hoping to get $3K for it.

There's been one listed for a long time on LA Craigslist - $19,995, I think it'll be there a while at that price.

That's a P11 .... a different type of bike. OP is selling an N15CS.

okwebb:
What a bike is worth depends on what buyers are willing to shell out. You say it's in excellent shape, yet it has a slight oil leak. That's a contradicting statement, isn't it?
So it needs some TLC. In the UK a really nice G/N15 will usually fetch 7500-8000 GBP or 9.200-10 K$.

Oops sorry should have spotted that, just wasn't clear headed at the time! The one on Facebook looks very nice.

Can't speak about N15's, but I saw a project P11 in the UK sell for $9000 (!) a year or two ago. They are worth more over there, wonder if the sellers of high priced ones are hoping to sell overseas? Lots of old brit twins (and for that matter old japanese bikes, too) in the UK are imports from the US.

Trying to get "an idea" of a bike's value, without a single photo, is not worth wasting time over.

Somewhere between $2,500 and $15,000, depending on whether two very motivated buyers happen to see and want it at the same time.
