When I go slow over a bump I get a clicking from, I think, the top of the fork area.
I get a smooth up and down movement from the forks when I have the front brake on and push down.
I can't replicate the sound.
Someone here posted maybe endcaps need replacement, what are they and would that stop this?
It happens so fast I am not sure if it is compression or fork extension, somehow I suspect extension?
Just ignore this, no big deal, or fix/replace something?

The sound that you may be hearing is the valve body hitting the Dampener tube cap. The valve is nutted onto the end of the dampener rod and the cap is screwed onto the top of the dampener tube body. See your parts manual. There is a very little 2MM dowel involved in the mix of valve parts I have found many folded right over they start their life straight though. The dampener cap wears out from dirty oil passing between it and the rod. What little dampening the stock system offers is lost when this wear occurs. Fear not the thing can be fixed to work real well. See my site for more info.
