Pitt Bull Now Making Rear Stands for Commandos

I called Pitt Bull a couple months ago and asked them to make me a rear stand for my Commando.
They did! It is supplied with new rear shock bolts that extend out with the mounts attached for the stand's lifting points to slip under. I can put the rear end up on the stand myself, very nice and easy now for rear chain lubing, etc.
No need anymore to have a center stand.
I think it was around $200 delivered. Very nice.
Don't know if this Commando stand is shown on their web site, but you can give them a call.

I have taken some pics. Unfortunately I am poor at figuring out how to post them here.
I will take another shot at reading the forum instructions and see what I can do.

Neat deal for a lot of work and at rest needs of Commandos
that does not require tire lifted off contact.

Most convenient tool I've made for holding up my Cdo is
a rectangle box of 1.5" heavy wall electrical conduit with a 4+ ft
long tube on a vertical tube to lever bike up and hold it up by lever arm
mass alone. Some tugging on bike requires me to put a foot
on lever arm of load it down with something.
I padded cross piece that contacts frame tubes or cradle or engine
bottom. I just move the thing till one end or the other is
held up.

I bought mine last summer and posted the result with pix:

As you can see from the pix there is no interference with the silencers. The stand has 2-3 inches of adjustment in width of the pick-up bars, so I use it as well on my Victor, which is considerably more narrow than my Mk3.

Didn't Norton make one originally :| and call it a center stand?

My frame is slightly lowered and I find that I need an extra pair of hands is using the center stand. Even on my Combat, which had a normal frame height, I found the center stand was difficult to use. Moreover, using the center stand supports the bike weight via the engine cradle, and puts quite a load on the isos. The paddock stand supports the bike weight on the front wheel and the swingarm, just as if you were riding it. The Pit Bull stand is a 10-second, one-handed operation. And you can move the bike around while the rear tire is elevated.

My center stand is the same. I need a second person to help push it up. Going to go back in and change the bushings and see if that makes it easier
