I bought a set of silencers from AN that were supposed to be less noise. After installing them I could not hear any difference at all but my hearing is not what it used to be

I've recently installed a whole new exhaust system, including EMGO peashooters. I purchased them from Greg Marsh and as Greg has posted and explained why, they are quite loud, and I agree with him. Am also looking for a simple solution to maybe quiet them just a bit. The EMGOs do not have a screw hole at the end of them to possibly retain a baffle, and they are so nice looks wise that I about hate to have to drill any hole/s in them.
Finally a report on the 'quieter' AN silencers. I was hopeful. Guess not.
But in daily use, the loud ones are only disturbingly loud when you run
it up to 5k + and the poor soul you are passing has his window open.
In order to get the peashooter to be quieter you would need to open the cone up. I run Dunstall mufflers with the stock baffling removed, some woven fiber glass wrapped in hardware cloth and one of these in each end. Best option so far without killing a ton of power.
