Was recently shown pictures of an poorly made Indian tank that required surgery/ cutting up for repairs.

The tank was not pretty on the inside. The whole thing was not pressed, but instead a patchwork of many, many smaller pieces welded together.
 
Made me cringe watching them throw the things around on the concrete floor, and do many OPs manually ‘by eye’ etc.

Then yooz guys wonder why they don’t quite fit ‘just so’…!

If this is the viddy I saw some months ago, was a bit shocking seeing them press a stack 5 or 6 sheets to form base plates. And another stack to form top shapes. There's no way to maintain accuracy as the lower sheet with bend at different dim's than top sheets. Does help explain how they are churned out so cheap however.
