Has anyone got any suggestions for the silver/gray paint used on the triple trees, the front half of the air box as well as the muffler/foot peg mount plates on a 1972 Commando Roadster? I want to get something pretty much exactly like OEM. A Sikkens or duPont code would help.

Thanks, -Bill

Check Eastwood. I think their wheel paint is very close. I was thinking of getting mine powdercoated and my guy had a lot of sample wheels, fan blades, etc that were a good match too. It is a silver gray as you say. I think the powdercoat might hold up better for these pieces.

Arent the muffler footpeg mounting plates Zinc plated?
I was luckt to find a matching silver/grey in my local hardware store, unfortunately I'm in Asia and the brand I'm sure would not be available in your part of the world. www.rjlondon.com is on the can.
