Hello, I am looking for an alternative exhaust for my N15CS
Has anyone fitted a P11 low level exhaust onto a N15CS ?
(I know the high level ones don’t fit)
Looking at pictures of both, I am wondering is the P11 pipes sit low enough to clear the footrests
Thanks Richard

I saw your post on the Facebook P11 Group page. Most folk take the easy route and use parts known to work. I also noted your comment about not really doing a restoration...

If you want to put the energy into it, you could use the N15 header pipes that are known to fit the N15, a short upsweep adapter, and silencers of your choice which could be peashooter like or something else entirely. You might end up having to weld brackets on the N15 frame. You could also use nut inserts in the frame to bolt things to, but I don't know how long they would hold up on a paint shaker solid mount. I have nut inserts with silver solder around them in my P11 megaphone exhaust bracket and they have been holding so far. I don't do a lot of thinking inside the box though. So you takes your chances listening to me. lol

Good luck finding someone that has done what you are referring to.

It would help to know some context such as why do you prefer the P11 exhaust? Baxter has 03-0262 / 03-0266 UK-made N15 reproductions for $325 here in the US. The N15 pipes fit very closely and properly around the footrests, so if something else fits from a bike with a different frame and pegs it would seem to be a miracle of coincedence.

Well it’s just a matter of looks and …… I am always looking for a miracle

Yep that was my thought but it irks me cutting a new $300 set of pipes whe maybe, just maybe a $150 set might fit.
