Just a reminder that the OVM (Oregon Vintage Motorcyclists) club will be holding their annual OVM Motorcycle meet at Oaks Amusement Park on Sunday August 2nd
If you're close by, we hope that you can ride or bring along your Norton or other classic. It’s always a lot of fun!
Here are a few details:-
Date: Sunday, August 2 2015
Time: Approx. 9am to 1pm (bikes often arrive earlier)
Place: Oaks Amusement Park, Portland (see link to map below)
Address: 7805 SE Oaks Park Way, Portland, OR 97202

Location: The event is in a dedicated parking area at the south side of the parking lot (you should see it on your left as you’re riding up to the Park entrance)
Admission: No admission charge for the motorcycle event
Organizers: OVM (Oregon Vintage Motorcyclists) club members & friends.
Memorabilia: There will be T shirts & club mementos for sale and an opportunity to sign-up for or renew your OVM membership
Description:
• A very warm & informal gathering of interesting vintage motorcycles and great company
• Attendees mostly ride their bikes to the show and there are some terrific bikes on display
• It’s not a show.. so no judging, no awards, and no admission charge
• There is also access to the Amusement Park (picnic areas, food, rides, etc.) for friends & family members who might need a break from looking at vintage motorcycles! Note that these are paid items and separate from the OVM event.
