One reason that some Police in N.Z. hated motorcycles , was that the Transport Officers HAD to RIDE for Two years , before they were considered for a CAR .
Incompetant riders with their big lace up boots manadged to brake British Machines , and thought gutless wonders like XS 650s were marvelous , as they wernt
fast enough to scare themselves on . These things didnt require the level of expertise that was necesary to operate a British motorcyle Succesfully .
