Yep, it's of interest. I have a Magnum 70 I used for a while. It worked fine and very similar performance to the race cam I bought from Jim Comstock, Webcam 86C I think.

It is an acceptable race cam, whatever is said in those notes. It is pretty much an SS (Combat Cam) with more inlet lift.

I would normally advocate a standard cam for a road bike, and I think this would be the limit of acceptable for a road bike hot cam.

I am now back to a PW3 profile. Great race cam.
 
Some additional basic information from the Norris Camshaft catalogue (1974) explaining cam profiles and how to "dial in" a cam.

Megacycle camshafts bought out Norris and have all the masters to grind the Norris camshafts .
