The last two years have been two Porsche full restorations, then my Norvin. The plan was to cash in my 1970 Roadster, and relax for a while.i recieved bulid data from Andover today. Its a 1970 Roadster.Emerald Green.
Apparently that aint gonna happen. After abuse & coersion in the pub tonight,Ive commited to bring it back to life.Well ,at least get the chassis in good shape, then engine guy can finish.
If im gonna ride this bike, I want decent brakes.Ive just ordered a front brake conversion via Mr Pender. The money is spent,so I cant wake toommorow and change my mind.
Ive a TLS.I need to replace hub and lower leg obviously.Do I need to replace both legs, or just the one, and re hub. After market, or find good used one?

I thought Dons kit came complete with slider(s) (one or two depending if single or twin disc) and even a laced wheel?

Indeed, if its the single disc kit, it does appear not to include a wheel (the twin disc does).
It does include a special fork leg though to mount the caliper.
You'll be needing a stock Norton disc type hub to bolt yer new disc to.

The oval section slider has more material and is therefore a bit stronger, it also looks better if both sliders are the same in my opinion.

Yeah I ordered via Ebay.No sliders. My bike has standard forks. Is there anything I need to consider when ordering.Or is it just "any" sliders for a disc brake Commando guys?
