Oil Line Connectors

The O/D on the oil tank inlet & outlet and junction block on my '68 Commando are 7/16". The rest of the line, include to & from my oil filter are 5/16" O/D.

Are there swedges or connectors available that I can use to connect the two size lines?

What I did was sweat solder two brass or copper sleeves onto the stubs of the oil filter mount. It's been over 10 years ago, but I believe I used some 5/16 i.d. copper tubing. I don't remember if I had to turn down the o.d. or not. Take a caliper to Home Depot and measure some fittings.

The filters were made for the later models with smaller i.d. hoses.
