Oil hose

Having some difficulty sourcing high temp/pressure oil hose for the feed and return between the engine and oil tank.

Any one use quality fuel line?

Since the pressures are not great, my guess that decent fuel hose will be ok, although will not have the same life as correctly rated oil hose.

Power steering return hose works well .

Fuel hose will not last as long. Jim

I've bought some transmission cooler line at my local Advance Auto Parts store, that has a texture similar to the factory herringbone hose. Not a direct match, but much lower price.

I second Brithit's advice. Locally sourced transmission cooler hose looks good and has the correct formula to last in a hot oily environment.

Black rubber fuel injection hose lasts forever as oil hose on my bikes.
