Oil Filter kit.. Mouting of the filter head

I don't think the Kegler clamps will interfere. The closest part to the swingarm is the filter itself and that is nearest to the center of the cross tube. It is a close fit though. Do you have the template that used to come with the filter kit? You are doing the right thing by doing the drilling off the bike. Otherwise it is likely that the drill will walk when starting the holes.

I haven't purchased the kit as yet, just thinking best to drill before building..

I just installed that same kit. With the Kegler mod as well. I'ts an easy position to drill with the gearbox and cradle in place.
