Off with the head (again)

I have been using the same copper oil pug gasket since I bought my Commando in '06 - just anneal it each time! I seldom buy new copper gaskets for anything though recently I did buy some new ones for the brake system on my '76 Honda CB400 F. When I pulled the old ones I found myself saying, "Why did I waste four dollars on these new washers?

Re head gasket sealant - for many years the head gasket sealant I found to work most reliably was Aluminum spray paint!
