I need the dimension of the area that fits through the sleeve gear.

All critical bearing/shaft and bush dimensions are in the ref section of the workshop manual.

thanks..The mainshaft bushing is sliding out a bit so I want to make a tool to push it back in. Otherwise I have to strip the gearbox which would be the correct thing to do.
