Bloody gorgeouse!!! I saw a real nice Dreer at the Centery Cycles fathers day bash a few months ago. They are SO nice. I'm not a big fan of the styling of the new 961's, too glossy for me but I saw one at the El Camino show here in So-Cal that looked great. Seems a lot of the chrome was gone & the aluminum was slightly buffed, it just looked like a bike with purpouse. Tough & de-glossed. Looked cool.
Have seen David Edwards 800 at Laguna Seca in 2003 at Kenny Dreers booth. Interesting the article seems to give credit as I mentioned in another string...Interback name was coined by Scott Marburger our NCNOC president in the 80's. Here's a photo of that bike along side my '73 750. Gene Austin's bumble bee long range fastback at the bottom. Photo is probably in 1983 off Hwy 1 south of San Francisco. Gene is in the same photo with Scott in the referenced article...killed a mountain goat with his Commando.
