Can anyone give a recommendation for a shop who can do a truly competent restoration on a Norton in New England or upstate New York? I have a 1975 Mk III that runs OK but I'm sure needs attention. I'm not looking for a cosmetic job so much as I am someone to do a full mechanical rebuild to my specs --- willing to work with me to make the bike behave as I want it to.

Colorado Norton Works looks to do really nice work, but is REALLY expensive. I'm not looking for a $30,000 job ! I work for a living like most of you ! :-)

Thanks for any thoughts.

Our own Road Scholar (Bill) now owns and operates Rocky Point Cycle in Hudson, MA. I'm sure he'd be able to help you. I've not had Bill do any work myself but from what I've seen of his bikes he does nice work. PM him or look up Rocky Point.

Best of luck.
