Guys, for your information my local Norton Owners club (Oxford branch) are organising a rally near Oxford this month over the weekend 25th - 27th September. Everyone interested in Norton's are welcome to attend, whether a club member or not, with your Norton, or other make of bike, or even no bike! The well equipped campsite has swimming and water-sports on-site, and even more importance - Real Ale.

The Rally includes:
Friday Meet & Greet
Saturday: Rideout to Didcot GWR Centre with Brunel's BROAD gauge engine 'FireFly' in Steam, and also Pendon Model Museum – containing a stunningly brilliant scenic model railway.
A 2-Course evening Buffet BBQ, with VIP Guest, 1953 Norton World Champ Stan Dibben.
Sunday: Rideout to Uffington Castle and the world-famous White Horse.

Full details & booking form can be found here: http://www.nortonownersclub.org/events/windrush.pdf

Hope you can make it. We really would like to see you there !

Sounds like it should be a good time. Please post some pictures on the fun, for those of us that can't make it.

Can't make Friday or Sat so would that exclude a Sunday only visitor?

Keith I don't see why not ! Bear in mind the ride out from the Standlake campsite will be around 11am for the 20 mile ride to Uffington Castle/Vale of White Horse. Not sure which pub we are stopping there for lunch, but I will find out for you and post back later, then if you can't make Standlake by 11am, you maybe able to make the other.

Great pics. I appreciated you letting me tag along for the afternoon. The White Horse and Peter's guided tour was interesting and what fantastic views. It was a great day and was good to meet you all and the Essex/TV members. I ended up at John Mould's yard nr Burghfield for the rest of his open day looking at an amazing collection of 20's to 40's cars and trucks. My old car club had turned up for their annual surprise picnic so it was a meeting up with old faces, the perfect end to a really fun day. Hope to meet up sometime again and lets hope the weather hold a bit longer. Thanks again.

Keith,

it was a pleasure to have you along, glad you had a good day !
