This is a factory blueprint for the Norton/Matchless heavyweight gearbox. It has some useful information on it, gears, ratios, part numbers etc..

Same information some businessman on Ebay would have you pay for, here it is for free.

You can right-click on these photos and save them to your desktop then open them up and manipulate them with photography software for easier viewing. The big photo of the whole print is cropped by the forum for some reason, but if you save it by right clicking and then open it up on your computer it will appear whole. Guess it is a forum bug.

Any questions on any details just PM me.

Here is another nice chart, it shows all the interesting ratios supplied over the years for AMC machines:

You (well i do anyway) just have to love the quality of the penmanship on real drawings.

That "businessman on ebay" will probably be logging in here soon to post an angry message threatening to sue you for interfering with his auction...

Thanks for the info! 8)

that ebay link explains this thread. Gee ben maybe you'll single handed bring down what's left of free enterprise in this country.

The one posted here is a 1.2MB jpeg file that is out of focus on the lower right corner, is also quite blotchy (lighting wise) and the contrast is no so great. To make a decent 30 X 42 print you should be using a file 10 MB or more. Blow this freebie up that size and look at the jaggies. The one on ebay is 30" X 42" and if his copies were properly done they should be a great bargain with his very reasonable starting price and shipping.

I talked to the guy on ebay selling the prints and he actually bought that blue print from BenG. Seems beng is quite the ebay seller.

I've been looking at the ebay ad wondering if I have the wall space. From an original blue print that size some great copies could be made if they were done properly.

Clipped images can be viewed full res by a R click then a L click on image. I saved them as jpg files for future study up close, thanks.
