This is the 10th Anniversary of the Bonneville Vintage GP-the longest continuous running event at Miller Motorsports Park!
Norton is the featured Marque for the Motorcycle Cycle Classics Magazine Bike Show Saturday
Richard Backus-Editor in Chief of Motorcycle Classics Magazine and
Brian Slark-Technical Advisor for the Barber Motorcycle Museum are the guest judges.
There is also a custom bike show on Sunday presented by Salt City Builds.

Admission to this years event is free to those on motorcycles! There is free motorcycle parking, helmet and
gear check inside of the paddock. Camping available.

1 day of practice, 2 days of AHRMA racing and AHRMA race school on Friday.

Miller Motorsports Park is approx. 90 miles from the Bonneville Salt Flats. The Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials
(formally BUB) is held the week leading up to the BVGP and ends Thursday. AHRMA practice at Miller starts Friday.
Two unique motorcycle events happening the same week! :D http://www.bonnevillespeedtrials.com

There will be a custom ear plug vendor at this years event and other vendors.

If you have any prizes you would like to donate to the Racers and Volunteer Awards Barbeque,
please contract tomkullen@bonnevillevintagegp.com

http://www.smithsgaugesusa.com will be donating a new race tachometer to be handed out at the barbeque.

Parade laps during lunch for a donation to the American Cancer Societies Hope Lodge in Salt Lake City
was hugely successful last year and we had several racers participate. It provides free lodging
for cancer patients during their treatment and is slated to open this September.

Re: Norton featured marque at this years Bonneville Vintage

Tom, what is the status with the track ownership, and projected future for it?

Hope it turns out to be another great event, I'd sure love to go back.

Re: Norton featured marque at this years Bonneville Vintage

It's been a tense couple months but it all sounds good so far. A lot of details but bottom line is that a Chinese group that has been building tracks in China has purchased track. After reviewing the options I think might be the best option compared to what the other bidder was planning. Allen Wilson- Miller Motorsports Park designer and the one designing the tracks (6) in China is their spokesman and the one that originally gave me the first hard contract of any event over 10 years ago for Miller is a vintage enthusiast with expansion plans and bringing it up to Formula 1 and 2 standards.
I've been posting updates on a regular basis on the Bonneville Vintage GP facebook page and the AHRMA facebook page. Last week it was quite a nailbiter. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/new ... -facility/

Bottom line appears to be good news for the park, as well as the racing world.

I concur. I've been reading the press releases and the future is shining a lot brighter these days. It's too good a venue to waste.
