Norton Dominator 99 problems

Hello,

How easily will pushrods bend? I've been reading that if you miss gear, or you "over" rev your engine the pushrods may bend.

With bent pushrods theres also clattery sound coming out of engine i guess. i was just thinking this, because my bike has missed gears few times and also 3rd has dropped out of engagement few times while accelerating, both times engine has revved pretty high.

There is minor noises, i think most of it is coming from cam followers area, but also could be coming from timing case(loose timing chain). Im ordering intermediate shaft support tool soon, so i can check timing chain tigthness and tighten it if neccessary next winter.

When i rode the bike for the first time i did not hear any extra sounds, but now i have started to hear them, it might be that they have been there from the beginning, but they are not so loud so im not that worried about it. Of course always there is some noises coming out of the engine when you start to listen to it, if there would be none then the engine is not running..

Also, there is now differece in riding temperature, when its +20°C i could barely hear tappet sounds, but now when its barely +10°C here in Finland, i can hear that valve clearance might be little to big for these temperatures.
