Norton Commando Fork Pinch Bolts

I am working on dismantling my 1973 Norton Commando 850. I scoured the web and my manuals but could not find any detailed information on removing the fork pinch bolts. What type of tool do I need to remove these bolts?. Too many sides for an allen key so I figured a star bit would work. No luck (unless I do not have the right size). They are a little corroded so it is hard to make out exactly what I need to loosen them. Any help would be appreciated.

THey are an allen key, unless someone fitted something odd.

Yes, should be an Allen key but maybe someone put something else in there. Possibly a Torx, Double Square or a Spline. Post a photo and we can tell you.

Thanks for your help. I finally got them off. One was stripped so the hex key was not working in it.
