I was told by SCS Delta to only use Delta 400 specific maps and bin files for the Delta 400 ECU.

hi
i have downloaded file into delta400
a marked difference starts up everytime straight to idle ( havent been for ride yet as day has turned ugly )
i still get a far bit of poping and backfiring out of exhaust must just be air/fuel will have to learn more about making fueling changes
all and all thanks so much this file has steered me in the right direction.

Did you follow the procedure to set the sensor base values? you might find some of the popping is from that.

When you say, "caused" can you tell us a bit more?
when i followed prosedure idle sat at around 2k rpm i could not get idle back down to 1200rpm idle
i had saved settings so reloaded map idle was all goid again.
but in saying that when i made the adjustments from the procedure pooping and backfiring was gone

Have you had it out for a ride yet? what's it perform like on road?
yes have been for ride.
its a really good map just needs a bit of tweaking
my thoughts are good stable idle when pulling up in traffic and lights.
a little bit bogey on throttle between 2000-3000rpm
heaps more punch from 3000rpm on

Gojuu mentioned earlier that you should do a file compare between the two files (maps). This should highlight what values are different , then save this file to your computer. You can then email this to SCS Delta UK or to anyone else who might want a look . Some of the values are changing when you load the high idle map. Pay close attention to the idle variables page and take screen shots , these can also be emailed .

i have emailed a few different dynotuners to see if i can get some responses .
i think that map just needs fine tuning on the dyno.

the base map supplied with delta 400 ecu
and the latest spark advance bass map.
