Sorry for the typo hear it not "heat it". Again at an idle it sounds quite normal to me.

Have you taken off the valve covers while its running (idling) and verified that you are getting oil flow to each of the valve areas ?
If one is running dry, after a while it won't like it....

Don't rev it while doing this, it may spread oil everywhere !

Sound as noisey clickity clanky as any decent Commando I've heard. The sound is mostly the rockers tapping the stems to ring the whole head like a bell. Lash and cam tension fine tuning helps some. Can get same sound on the bench tapping head anywhere. Does sound like one jug is runing a bit more mix and faster than the other by a smidgeon off perfection. Put hand on muffler puffs and adj so about even puff balls, then listen deeply and not grin while getting over knowing there really is a dual tag team of blacksmiths having at it There is also and over lap of head ringing with headers ringing both from the exhaust blasts and the head bell connection. Pull up some other y-tubes for sense of others and your microphone fidelity.

I have a single carb setup, so both cylinders should be pretty close to the same. Compression is 125ish, on both cylinders.

Sound's rough! cement mixer's full of brick ends

Here is a video of the nose I am getting in the top end of the motor.
Any ideas what the noise is? Is it just a valve adjustment? The motor has approximately 3000 miles.

Thanks.
