Yup... I said it. Nipple :P
I want to change the front caliper bleeder nipple on my 1973 850 Commando. does anyone know the thread size for this?
I can order one but it would take about a week to arrive

You can get a 1/4-28 UNF bleeder screw at any well stocked auto parts store. That has been the standard here in the Americas for decades.
 
I sometimes think parts of by brain never got past grade 3!

I reported to a General Manager some years ago who was clearly homophobic.
One day he was coming down the corridor done up to the nines, suit and all, for a meeting with shareholders.
As he approached I said, "Brian! You look good. Give us a tongue kiss and I'll tell you who's gone queer!"
He spun on his heel and went straight back to his office. The incident was never mentioned again.

Evidence that post #6 is true.
