A 350 single… a fitting tribute… not…!

Some of those new BSA variants look kinda cool though.
 
Interesting idea, though. A 961 in Production Racery livery (yellow of course) would be pretty cool.

Looking at the engine # only, it is an earlier engine, and most importantly, NOT a Combat. I believe it is a 1971 engine, so the rest of the bike likely is from 71 as well.
This is a good thing!
Looks like a nice machine if you have the back for it.
