Hey All,

A little update.. me and my dad purchased a commando 961

I think we did ok, 2017 Cafe racer 3700 Miles 1 owner, it has the omex ecu and Norton Short pipes plus a few other goodies. I had a good 20 min test ride on it and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. I must say what an experience it is to ride one.

There is always a 'It's nice but....'

-The wheels need a good clean and polish (something I can do)
-The bike is clean but could be nicer, mechanically the guy has looked after it but it hasn't been loved. I have partially stripped the rear end to give it all a good clean up.

I have noticed that the paint/or powdercoat in some places on the frame is coming off (not sure if they were powder coated) I have removed the metal box that holds the ECU and ABS pump as the bottom of that is all flaking off. I am potentially going to remove the swing arm and get that re done as well. I will post some pics up when I get a minute..

I will also take it to Stu in the new year to get him to go over it.. hoping that a bit of winter fettling it will be a nice bike for the summer.
