I missed where this whole thing started off: Who is "Paul senior" and where was this advertised? I saw the bike on eBay and thought this was going to be it, but from what someone else wrote it appears not.
In a previous thread regarding shocks for Nortons (rear shocks), I brought up the subject of shocks with offset eyelets because I'd seen some at Dreer's when I once visited there. I was careless and didn't note the name and model number of those shocks, however, and was subsequently unable to figure out what I'd been shown. I see your bike has the shocks in question, though, so could you please post the brand and any identifying information? I'm sure everyone here would appreciate learning what they are, because with the offset eyelet(s) they fit well in regards to the chainguard.
Must be fun to work at the DMV when bikes like this come through for licensing. But I can't see how a bike fitted with empty megaphone mufflers disguised as peashooters, and with no turn signals, too, will get past a state inspection. If so, the requirements there are different than a lot of other states. You might save yourself some time mounting quieter mufflers for the inspection, and turn signals, too, if you have either.
Speaking not only for myself, but what must surely be other members on the board here, I'll be disappointed if you don't post additional videos on youtube of this machine in action.
