Great Tee, love it, sorry for the "model" it´s been put on..... All perfect apart from: The Swedish customs! They robbed me at close to $40 to collect the Tee, it´s not fun buying from the US.....

I don´t think that´s the problem. There´s import charges, customs fee´s, taxes and more taxes! All this because you buy from outside the EU. One has to ask the seller to write a lower value in the paperwork, and if possible send it as a private seller. This is probably not easy to get a company to do. I don´t mind paying a little extra, but these fee´s are just crazy. It sucks, same thing when I bought valves and springs from JS, if I remember correctly I paid around $100 extra when I collected that small parcel.
But the tee is great! Beautiful big print on the back with the engine and gearbox!

Also Vintage motorcycle parts can be exempt from duties too.

Yes, I´d forgotten about that, heard someone mention that a while back.

I've head that before, but have never succeeded in it. If anyone knows how to import vintage bike parts into U.K. Without being clobbered for the duties and tax, please share it.

The Customs part of the shipping labels I send out state "Antique motorcycle parts", not sure how much mustard that cuts. I am curious if any of you outside the US have had to pay additional fees on the Rocky Point Cycle orders?

We have to pay duty and GST (15% sales tax) on everything we import to NZ over $250 NZ. If we carry it in it is $750 worth of goods before duty/tax. The duty rate is determined by the type of commodity, and vintage parts have a lower rate compared with othwr categories.

Moving to France has been reasonably effective! Not 100% but lower value stuff seems fine.

But in the UK you are even charged for being charged!

here in Canada Vintage MC parts ( +25yrs ) are free of Duty .... over the years I have received Vintage parts from the UK , USA and the Philippines all without paying any Duty , sometimes a $5.00 Postal handling fee though .... I sent some used header pipes to MikeM on this forum marked as Vintage MC parts and I believe he got away with out paying , but not really sure .... paying these fees can really drive up cost as we all know .... and in Canada like the UK it's tax on top of tax .... and yup they are great T-Shirts !

Same in NZ. We get hit with GST on top of duty and all fees and shipping.

Same here in Sweden, thought we had the worst deals, but obviously others have just as troublesome (?) lives....

Tommy the gigant

Sorry it cost so much to get your T. I think you will agree the quality is very good. They last a long tome and dont shrink.

Very nice design, and good to see the rave reviews. Are the t shirts screen printed? I would not want the kind with the rubberized graphics bonded to the cloth.

Yeah, well, it´s not your fault. The quality is great, as is the look. Will only wear it sundays between 12 and one o´clock mid day......
